Hear Me, “Don’t Let Your Business Be Average!”

Don’t be average in your business.

Guess why?

Because then your business will be average.

The push beyond being average is about distinguishing yourself from every other average business.

You might ask, “But how can my business not be average?”

On your part, you can take massive action – not just work hard, but take massive action.  That means setting massive goals, working smarter than your competition, and not settling for anything but massive results.

But you might say, “Gordon, I’m already exhausted.  I can’t imagine doing anything more.”

I get it.  But distinguishing yourself from average businesses is about taking a different approach than average business owners.

How do you do that?  Well, here is a start.

One:  Never play the victim.  That’s what so many do.  You are not helpless to what’s going on around your business.  If you play the victim, people will see you and your business as victims.  Eventually, they will go somewhere else.  That leads us to number two.

Two:  Take responsibility.  Own what you can own and work to separate yourself from anything that’s holding your business back.  If you don’t like a circumstance, make every effort you can to change it.  Own your choices.  Own your decisions.  Own your goals.  Own your plan of action.

Three:  Surround yourself with people of the same mindset.  Don’t tolerate complainers.  Employ and partner with people who have a drive for success.  Teach and instill this ethos into everyone in your company.

As Grant Cardone says in “The 10X Rule”, you only have four options:

Do nothing

Retreat

Be Average

Take Massive Action

Taking massive action is the only real formula for success.

Hang in there, and please let us know if we can ever be an encouragement to you.
