Prepare Your Business for the Return of Covid-19

Covid-19 is back in its 2021 form.

Our opinion doesn’t matter.  We can think it’s an overhyped mess, a means for the government to inject microchips into our body, or the biggest healthcare threat of our lifetime.  Covid-19 is back.

What I mean is that new mask requirements are coming in restaurants and businesses.  Positive tests are spiking, and who knows that mandates are on the way?

Again, our opinions on these things have no effect on what’s to come.  As professional musician Andy Biersack said, “What we think of Covid-19 has no effect on the cost of insurance.  It is what it is.”

With that in mind, how is your business preparing for the oncoming changes?  While you are free to establish your internal office and staffing policies, the question remains, “How are you preparing your business?”

Many of the preparations that we’ve mentioned before are still relevant.  You can find them at Covid-19 and the Business Landscape and Season One of the Capitalize Your Best Podcast.  But what are you doing to prepare for the potentially slowed economy and diminished foot traffic?  It’s coming no matter our opinion.

Our biggest advice is to shore up your digital marketing and digital delivery.  If your social media isn’t precise, clear, and effective, take steps to get it that way.  If your online delivery systems aren’t set up, invest in them now.  Let’s not forget the lessons of 2020 already.

The companies that communicated effectively and delivered safely survived and thrived.  Those that didn’t struggled, and some shut their doors.

Perhaps the ship will turn course, and we will avoid a repeat of 2020.  It might be better to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

If Capitalize can assist you with your digital marketing and delivery, please reach out to us.  We’re here to help.
