3 Myths About Marketing and Marketing Companies

Are you ready for some marketing truth bombs?

Let’s dive in. While there are stacks of myths and misconceptions about marketing companies out there, I’m here to set the facts straight.

Today, I’m running you through three things you might not know about marketing and marketing companies.  Let’s dive in!

If a marketing company represents itself well, they can represent you well.  This is true in every way from their representation online (Upbeat? Negative? Sloppy?) to the way they communicate with you.  If they aren’t appealing to you, they can’t help you appeal to your target market.

A marketing company’s ability to impact targeted communities is more important than their number of followers.  Who cares if they have 10,000 followers if they can’t impact a specific group of people?  It’s the same for you.  Effective marketing is about your product finding an audience, not shouting your name to a faceless group of people.

Effective marketing is about the offer of joy and hope.  Yes, negativity and fear sell, but joy and hope persevere.  Crafting your message, and finding someone to help you, is about demonstrating how you and your brand do just that: offer joy and hope.

I hope these help!
