People are hopeful and scared.

Cities are preparing for unrest.

Covid-19 has already impacted the economy in ways unimaginable.

The question is, “Will we survive the election?”

While the outworking of the election is completely unknown, there are a few things you can do to “election proof” your life, profession, and business.

1.       Be consistent on social media.  Post at least every day.

2.       Focus your messaging on service.

3.       Be the chief cheerleader in your company.

4.       Be creative in what you offer to your community.

5.       Invest in your education through classes that teach new skills.

6.       Invest in a coach to help you avoid the pitfalls.

7.       Pursue your physical health.  Move. Drink Water. Avoid excess sweets and alcohol.

8.       Cherish the time you spend with loved ones.

9.       Be quick to listen.

10.   Slow to speak.

11.   Slow to anger.

12.   Have fun.

14.   Smile

15.   Be thankful for all you have.

There may be a lot out of your control in the next 60 days, but you are in control of you, and doing all of the above might just help you, your career, and your business survive this election season.
